| We just got back from London the day before yesterday and it's been interesting adjusting back to the weather and time difference here :) But it felt like coming home when we got back to Bangkok.
London was absolutely AMAZING! I felt like I was at Disneyland's Main Street the whole time...everything is so well put together and classy :) We went to visit our good friends the Brubakers, Bryan, and KC :) KC ended up not being there unfortunately due to some visa issues :( That was sad but the trip ended up being like the BOMB :)
Here are some pics from our trip:
Our stop-over in Abu Dhabi of all places...the airport looked like Las Vegas:

So there you go :) London was fabulous and I can't wait to go back there :)
One side note: Medical care is COMPLETELY FREE in LONDON!! Even for foreigners!! I know cuz I got sick in the beginning of our trip (it was apparently a "bug") and we went to the hospital and everything was for free!! They did all these weird tests too :) hahah just to let you know in case you go to London and get sick :) |

| my mom's been studying to become a nurse for the past year.
today i found out that SHE PASSED THE TEST and she's receiving her license to become a nurse by the end of this week :)
For those of you who know my family's journey for the past couple of years, you know how incredibly important this is to me :) I just had to share :*) |

| DK and I took a trip out to Seoul a couple of weeks ago and it was really SOOOO great! I never thought I would fall in love with the city/country so much :) The people are so much nicer than I remember :)
We got to visit with family that we haven't seen in years and it was soooo great :) They HOOKED it up :) The first night we stayed over at one of my aunt's place in Choong Ju (it's like a country side area)...and it was absolutely GORGEOUS! They actually filmed a korean drama there this past year. I think it's called "Bad COuple" in english (Bul Yang Couple in korean). hahah :)
my other aunt took us to like 3 different malls to show us what korean people dress like :) hahaah it was fun for me and not so fun for daniel :)
we got to hang out with our friend hyo jung who graciously hosted us for 3 days and took us to wonderful mandoo house :)
We ate too much AMAZING food :) And you know when you're with family (esp. old people) you can't refuse...so we ate and ate and ate and ate :) oh so wonderful :) Check out the pictures on DK's site :) hehee
on a slightly different note, Dk and I are going to be finished here in Bangkok in September :(
i can't believe it's already time to start packing up our bags...i feel like we just got here...and then not really.
This is our home. Where we've built family, friendships, love...and to leave it is something that I know will be quite difficult to do.
We still have a couple of months :) And i know it will go by fast since there's a lot of stuff in store until then. For one, i'll be working at Elite until the endish of July...and then in august we're planning a trip out to London to see our beloved family there :) and after that, it will be september before we know it :)
But i know it'll be very nice to be back in SoCal with our family and friends there :)
